Cursed Pumpkin Boss

The Cursed Pumpkin is an optional boss and the earliest boss in the game, found early in the Bamboo Forest just above Stephen.
The arena
The fight takes place on an arena of crumbling dirt. when a boss attack touches it, it dissapears for a few seconds, revealing spikes beneath. The cursed pumpkin alternates between aiming at the player and aiming in a random direction.

Phases
- Phase 1 — Fires orange carrots and one green carrot every third attack.
- Phase 2 — Only fires orange carrots.
- Phase 3 — every third attack becomes fires three orange carrots instead of one.
When the pumkin changes phase it is telegraphed by a different sprite.
Strategy
In phase 1, try to hit the green carrots to stay at full health. Make sure to stay on the solid ground, the spikes deal damage incredibly quickly.
Drops
On death the Cursed Pumpkin drops the Pumpkin Ring — a blue item that increases heal strength by one.
