Terry is the combat teacher in Frontford and a member of the council of battle. He teaches Sam how to fight and gives him the sword at the start of the game
Story
SPOILER — Events in chapter 1 (click to reveal)
In Chapter 1 during the raid Terry is seen outside your house, and he sends you on the quest to save the hostages. After the funeral he gives you the spear and sends you on a quest to gravehome. You then find him after the berdin fight in the graveyard where you both walk to elmwood forest together.
SPOILER — Events in chapter 2 (click to reveal)
In chapter 2, Terry can be seen in many spots throughout elmwood forest whilst you navigate through it, and after the Elder Elm is defeated he gives you molotovs to burn down the village. After returning to Frontford he is made the new mayor, and he gives you a train ticket to the city of steel. Terry joins the meeting in the castle, and boards the boat with you at the end of the chapter.
